I read this post by Oseas:

"To be anointed with oil is to be separated as GOD's chosen one- Matthew 25:31-34. Take a look. The true chosen ones of the Lord are prudent and wise, they have lamp to shine as they walk in the world of darkness, and enough oil to keep the lamp burning to meet the Lord, the bridegroom, and be saved. By the way, He said: Revelation 3:11-13:

11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no one take thy crown."

    This post was from Richard.

The last point for now is that we must be open for others to pray for our needs as well. We need each other.

If momsage reply was for me, this is what I meant. It was good to read those words as I travel this road thorough this barren land among people that seemed to have loss faith in the future.

We need to encourage each other.

It is good for me to know that I am on the "right" road.

I don't know if it is filing correctly because I can't see the thread now?, but there was a question about sun, vs. son - I can't recall now. But in KJV 1611, the word in question - was in the scripture as sunne.

Hi Osamageris: If you are saved you already have a good relationship with God. Just trust Him as you would a Father loving His child, because that is how He sees you. He is with you always, especially when you pray and He loves to see you reading and studying His Word. Be joyful as His child. God Bless :)

    Hi James gray

1 John 3:1-2 reads "Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is."

"we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is."

James I believe we will be able to know and see one another the same way Christ does.

Perhaps from another dimension that we can't comprehend in these bodies.

    God bless.

I have been reading & sharing from your site for years, and never once created an account or even said thank you. Now that I created an account here, my stats are terrible! 0%...it's serves me right. today I'm saying thank you for your decades of public service. It is so easy to find things too. I mused to drag out my heavy Strongs or Vines.

    You have enriched my life.

Needing strength for my journey, I knelt at the cross

Where Jesus once died for me.

and I asked, "Is this the place where hope abides?

And this He said to me:

"Beyond the Cross is a tomb that is empty

You won't find Me there anymore

And beyond the tomb is life ever-lasting

    And hope forever more."

Then I sought reassurance and I went to the tomb

To the place where His body once laid

And I cried, "Lord, help me see.

Is there hope here for me?"

And this I heard Him say:

"Beyond the Cross is a tomb that is empty

You won't find Me there anymore

And beyond the tomb is life ever-lasting

And hope forever more and hope forever more." Evermore

SOMEBODY BIGGER THEN YOU AND I

(These lyrics are simple but beautiful.

I wish I could play the music too.)

Who made the mountains? Who made the trees

and Who made the rivers flow to the sea

and Who hung the moon in the starry sky?

Somebody bigger then you and I.

Who makes the flowers bloom in the spring

Who wrote the song for the robins to sing

and who sends the rain when the earth is dry?

Somebody bigger then you and I.

Who lights the way when the road is long

    and keeps you company.

With love to guide you He walks beside you

just like He walks with me.

When you are weary, filled with despair

who gives you courage to go on from there

and who gives you faith that will never die.

Somebody bigger then you and I.

Who lights the way when the road is long

    and keeps you company.

With love to guide you He walks beside you

just like He walks with me.

When you are weary, filled with despair,

Who gives you courage to go on from there

and who gives you faith that will never die?

Somebody bigger then you and I

Somebody bigger then you and I

    Carroll Roberson

I'm kind of an old fashion Christian that likes the "older" contemporary Christian music. This artist has a beautiful voice and can write these wonderful, uplifting lyrics to. It is very grievous that some popular artists, like Kelly Clarkson and Lauren Daigle support homosexuality so I can't possible listen to their music or else I'm supporting them. I grieve for them. God Bless :)

    Hi Aaron.

I would suggest doing the very thing you say you have trouble with.

    Keep praying!

Pray for the Lord to strengthen your faith and to continue reading your Bible.

May I ask what do you mean when you say, "when you do both things you feel like you get further away."

Is it your understanding, Is it conviction or something else? Maybe we can help.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    God bless.

Hello to you Brother . Two things you didn't mention your age and how long is it since your baptism . All relationships need time and effort for them to grow so it's the same with your relationship with God and with Jesus . You do have to put in some effort one of the easiest ways is to see your God everywhere . He is visible every day in His creation . I love nature and animals all of them and I can see God's wisdom and beauty in all of his creatures . If I have to pick one thing it would be the sky . Go somewhere where you can see a lot of it . Maybe somewhere high . The sky is awesome . The different colors at different times of the day and the different cloud formations the sun and the moon and the stars . Looking at all these things that God has created how beautiful they all are and totally different every day ! God isn't only in the Bible He's everywhere you just need to have eyes to see Him in His creation . Then look at your own life . See how He has been at work in your life bringing you closer to Him . See how He takes care of you every day . You might think that you look after yourself or maybe your family helps you but guess what ? Every good thing in your life comes from Him and you can have nothing or do nothing or be nothing without Him and His love and mercy in your life . Learn to see Him and then maybe you will learn to hear Him and you will grow closer to Him . Don't give up . God is alive and with you and He isn't going anywhere .

Hi Symone63. You must be referring to some other teaching (e.g. Roman Catholicism) which maintains Mary's perpetual virginity. If you are, then the Scriptures are replete with verses to show that after Jesus was born to Mary, then Mary gave birth to other children (sons & daughters), but Mary was indeed a virgin when the Holy Spirit placed this Godly Seed into her, so that God could appear unto men in the flesh in the Person of Jesus, as only God could make the full, acceptable, & permanent payment for mankind sins ( 1 Timothy 2:16; 1 John 3:16; John 15:13).

You can look at the following Scriptures to show that Jesus did have siblings, albeit half-siblings now by both Joseph & Mary. Matthew 12:46,47; Matthew 13:55,56; Mark 6:3; John 2:12; John 7:3,5,10; Acts 1:14; 1 Corinthians 9:5; Galatians 1:19.

    Philippians 1:29-30,

"29. For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake; 30. Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear to be in me."

    Hey Adam!

    That's a good question!

The "Prosperity Gospel" is what I have heard it called. It certainly isn't based off the Bible and can be easily debunked. The scripture that comes to my mind is 2 Timothy 4:3. Those type of pastors tell people whatever they want to hear, and people like it, thus they pay for that type of ministry and gospel. The are charismatic pastors and people lend them their resources, thus they gain prominence and prestige.

It is as Bennymkje said. God knows those who belong to him. We all will stand before the judgement seat of God. They are having their reward in full now, because if they are indeed judged to have been mishandling the word of God......it won't be good.

Also, just as Jesus said. If we remain in his word, we will know the truth and the truth will set us free. ( John 8:31,32)
